Millantún "No one will replace the Rock (1987)
When we Millantún, we sought to renew the rock scene in Chile, with a proposal in Castilian. Times were tough. We are talking about recent years the military coup in which he had to ask permission for everything and more so if it was to rock. Our proposal was based on a fusion of rock and folk, not the style of The Jaivas because ours was more rock than folk. In fact one of our biggest successes is called "Pomaire", a song dedicated to this craft colorful place in clay. Just did covers of groups that were a source of inspiration for us as Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Grand Funk. They were our school and at that time there was nowhere to study how to rock. All I learned from her albums. At that time, the band is formed by Roberto Aldunate on bass, Jose Aldunate on keyboards and vocals, Bob on guitar and vocals Marin and Alfredo Munoz on drums. The group suffered a break in 1980 but was renewed with two talented musicians who was the drummer Tito Valenzuela, who came from the Influence and guitarist Mario Munoz, Teike's. With this training we walked almost the entire country and acted Festivals in almost every student, which was the birthplace of our fan base in the future. Millantún starred in many television shows and performed at the biggest rock events of the day, in the Estadio Chile, the Central Court National Stadium, in order to concerts that were real events and people responded and filled enclosures .
The style of this production is close to Latin pop
