Dear friends

Upon receiving this e-mail, I was informed of the problems of copyright, although the blog not only published material edited by seals, there is the problem of the rights of musicians that SCD , cautiously, they contacted me and warned me about this warning of the consequences of insisting on it
Since I have the economic power to continue the project, I announce that the blog stopped putting music file links
All this year was gratifying for me because had the company of you who encouraged me and suggested I music, as well as the collaboration of you about to upload material (as well as those who refuse to be material available in stores)
This blog arose to visit the Argentine blog incunabula and questioning that it was feasible to do so in Chile and only lacked the will and go to Internet cafes to increase the material (that is the reason why I could not reraise the links), this year it went up a lot of styles from new wave to the trash trying to show the Chilean rock music and jazz is a reflection of who we are.
Now there is new people who support and visit, so it is always advised to buy the original material is an effective way to help our musicians and r to the gigs
I say goodbye and thank for his words of support received during my illness

Los Bric a Brac versus 91 Clan
This lp collects the material released on singles and LP on sand. At this time the sound of bric a brac had embraced psychedelia especially with the work of A. Lastarria in telcos and L. Murray on guitar, incorporating powerful solos in their songs. I personally recommend the first lp 1967 by the RCA and while not belonging to beat the sound exceeds these. Clan
91 by R. I renew Espinoza vocalization vocal group, backed with the Rockets that at that time are influenced beat (I recommend listening to New Directions and secluded beaches, both sand and seal)

Continuing the collection of jewels Blop, here is the recital of the SCD of 27 August 2001 when, unfortunately partially without registration of the topics of "anchor store." In an interview very old Gatti mentioned the frustration that would have caused them not being able to have recorded some songs from his first productions as they would have liked because the seal they restricted the use of instruments "electronic" home by the "imperialist" of these. Reunion concert in the 2001-2002 Gatti expressed the satisfaction that caused them interpret these issues as they should have been provided. For those who were there not much surprises us, but for those who have not ever heard versioned as shown here will find the value of this recording, sounding like Blop should always sound. Julio Villalobos unfortunately not the forgotten great teacher, but Carlos Fernandez (Hex-Kissing speel) does wonders. Hope will be a contribution to this lovely blog that is recovering our lost memories.

Interview with Alejandro Valladares, ex - singer and bassist of The Flintstones

Alejandro Valladares is a Chilean artist who leads in the body, a career over 40 years playing the music you love: rock 'n' roll and the beat. Its beginnings date back to 1965, when hand in hand with The Flintstones, played at venues such as the Empire Theatre and the Theatre Caupolicán.

"To me I thought the name was The Flintstones and by" monkeys "of television. I decided it sounded strange compared to all the names in English, they had other Chilean bands, "he said. In 1966, Valladares met Scottie Scott, former artistic director Vivarte Seal, who told him "You are like the Beatles Chilenos!. So, okay, I'll give them a topic which I translated and is of The Dave Clark Five called "Glad All Over." Then, Valladares said, "I was so Scottie version under the title of" Very Satisfied. "

Similarly, recorded with The Flintstones several Long Plays (33 1 / 3 rpm) as "Malon A Go-Go "(1967) or" Exciting! "(1967), as well as several albums (45 rpm). Their second single, "Darling", he achieved great success and was the first piece of music that the late composer, Scott, wrote for them. "The song," Darling ", was recorded and performed better, if compared with the previous album because he was always designed in a Play for Long Sand Seal Camilo Fernandez. I remember we spent a lot of time working "Darling" Scottie's house because we had great voices and it was pretty good, "said Valladares.

Also, this player does not forget the fact that this song would be the first recorded in Spain, using an electric guitar, but under the effect of "distorting": "The recording of" Darling "is important because we were the first in Chile to use a "distorted" for a recording. We had many contacts with many "gringos" who came to our country and we buy, one of them, this "blurring" that connect to the amplifier and then to the guitar, as used today in the form pedal "he said.

However, there is something you worry, since his current musical band vibrates to the public that follows. Newspaper

The Blop - Live 1979
some critics have called the second reunion of The Blops as a lower level compared to what was done in the early 70's. I consider it a mistake and this opinion is caused by the lack of sound recordings, which graph the sound of this phase. Now I put at the disposal this recording of two concerts by showing real Blops hierarchy of the group. Gatti and Orrego
meet with Jaime Labarca forming an acoustic trio (sometimes expanded to a quartet with Barbara Smith and Cecilia Echenique on vocals), following the paths of Canto Nuevo prevailing that time. The first thing we should highlight, the quality of interpretation the group, its austerity and the ability to create a world with few elements uncompromising musical and poetic that excites in the soul (something that could learn the so-called Nueva Trova Chilena), was not the group Gatti, but a songwriting duo with songs achieved as the sun is in everything from Orrego or boat or Sambaye (that would be used in solo productions Gatti). so it is the composition of Pato Manns, South Exile in energetic version worthy of any anthology.
In the last part, out of a poor track record is the extraordinary That is what is happening, no one does regret that the time stamp has been interested in getting a commercial registration

Debris
The Debris music, a rock band of the 60s generation in Chile, was heavily influenced by Anglo-Saxon bands of the era. There were four Chilean and Austrian Walter Ziman (a PE teacher scholarship for his country in Santiago), who consisted of the songs and made the arrangements. Debris
singing in English and also of his own, doing covers of Jimi Hendrix, Jethro Tull, Joe Cocker, Ten Years After and Led Zeppelin, among others. During his business schools played in festivals and parties. In 1970 they recorded their only album, Debris, produced for the label by the producer Arena Camilo Fernandez, who had previously edited Aguaturbia and other groups such as Bewitched, but was then a name more associated with the movement of neofolklore. Later, Ziman joined the band Destruction Mac's and the group disbanded.

Interview
psychedelic.
Thanks to the kindness of Claudio Gajardo Cornejo to our site, we can publish this interview with Waldo Morales, second guitar in this band.
.
Waldo Morales: "Our record is was selling for nearly 30 years in the Feria del Disco."
.
Waldo Morales, ex - second guitar and vocals for the rock group, The psychedelic, opened the doors of his house to speak out about his life and music with his former colleagues ran during 1966 to 1968. Morales expressed to us how a Chilean group of the time was more concerned with making music than making money:
.
"It's hard to say for others, but I have the impression that the direction of the market was not as developed 40 years ago. Therefore, I consider that, for us, was more the passion to make music millionaires for contracts. This explains why we never win large sums of money moreover, the set was completed just in time when we were at the start point of harvest. In short, remember that never in the psychedelic commercial interests prevailed over the music, since we were very happy with what we did. The music was our hobby, it was our entertainment, in a moment, turned professional and, given our age, wake up a lot of curiosity and praise in the press of a musical work "as rechicos goats", since it was not common. It's up to review the age of the Mac's, Los Jockers o Larks to realize that they were all very old, when compared to us who had between 15 and 18. I have the impression that we and perhaps other age groups were in the same stop making music than making money. However, no one tells us that, at best, to have kept us in time, we had focused on contracts, money, participation of the copyrights and everything else. Ie everything up to now we have not bothered. "
.
- Do you know how many albums were sold Sicodelirium?.
.
never knew and I think any "psychedelic" has a notion of how many records were sold. However, I do know is that up to 10 years our disc was selling for almost 30 in the Feria del Disco. "
.
currently works Waldo Morales, for many years as Director of Choirs. Mariana Fernández is married and has 2 sons, Fabian and Felipe, who also are dedicated to music.

Congregation - Congregation Comes (1972)
Arising in Valparaiso on the creativity of Antonio Smith, their only album is a mix of placid sounds, full of positive messages, idealistic love of nature and man himself. In developing a musical style that mixes folk, psychedelia and progressive. While the band did not achieve mainstream recognition in the country, Antonio Smith sang at the Festival de Viña del Mar, although in the general apathy of the spectators and the press.
Antonio Smith, the composer of all tracks from the band, still works as a soloist performing non-commercial music and later produces, as expected, New Age music under the name of Awankana.

Millantún "No one will replace the Rock (1987)
When we Millantún, we sought to renew the rock scene in Chile, with a proposal in Castilian. Times were tough. We are talking about recent years the military coup in which he had to ask permission for everything and more so if it was to rock. Our proposal was based on a fusion of rock and folk, not the style of The Jaivas because ours was more rock than folk. In fact one of our biggest successes is called "Pomaire", a song dedicated to this craft colorful place in clay. Just did covers of groups that were a source of inspiration for us as Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Grand Funk. They were our school and at that time there was nowhere to study how to rock. All I learned from her albums. At that time, the band is formed by Roberto Aldunate on bass, Jose Aldunate on keyboards and vocals, Bob on guitar and vocals Marin and Alfredo Munoz on drums. The group suffered a break in 1980 but was renewed with two talented musicians who was the drummer Tito Valenzuela, who came from the Influence and guitarist Mario Munoz, Teike's. With this training we walked almost the entire country and acted Festivals in almost every student, which was the birthplace of our fan base in the future. Millantún starred in many television shows and performed at the biggest rock events of the day, in the Estadio Chile, the Central Court National Stadium, in order to concerts that were real events and people responded and filled enclosures .
The style of this production is close to Latin pop

BLOG FEEDBACK AND NESS
In 1982 he returned to Chile on multi- instrumentalist, composer and singer Nestor Leal after 8 years living in Europe (Belgium). In those distant lands EQUINOX formed the band to play his compositions and then appear in the largest cities of Rock and music in general on the continent. The music scene in Chile only existed for the singers and bands contesting the dictatorial regime Chile, who lived for those years. But with the arrival of Nestor and his band FEEDBACK EXPECTRA all changed in the country's music. FEEDBACK is what is known as the genesis of metal and rock in this country. FEEDBACK spent countless musicians, but always maintained the same power and attitude, characteristic of the musical composition of his mentor. The light shows, fireworks and fancy costumes plus accompanying music genre power never before heard in the long narrow strip of land, gave the start to what we know today as rock in this country, "but with the Time seems that they forgot how to do it, "says Nestor. Today, after 25 years since Nestor Leal came to revolutionize everything, so again in 2007 and NESS FEEDBACK. Patriarch Back! THIS IS ROCK!!

How To Remove A Loose Bracket

Beat 4 - Give me a Bananina + Singles
The Beat 4 Society began as four friends from childhood. Under the influence of the Beatles, the Kinks and the Animals formed Electrons and by 1966, and after the explosion of beat rate in our country with the arrival of the Beatles, they changed their name to Beat 4 and singing in Castilian.
In 1967, backed by extensive airplay he got his single "Cry me," toured throughout country. The band's second success came with the jingle "Give me a Bananina" made to promote a banana-flavored ice cream. The subject was released on an EP, was a great success and led a tour of the main beaches of Chile. Then a model would reply with the song "Ta ta ta", so simple and catchy as the previous.
The Beat 4 career was short but intense and popular. In the early 70's and had released four LPs, and from Once upon a time began to incorporate his own compositions. When Willy Benitez left the band as his replacement came Mandiola Tilo, but soon decided the band so that the time had changed the name to Los Beat 4
